As of Wednesday, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment reported 3,590 new COVID-19 cases to put the statewide total of COVID-19 since March to 263,412.
KDHE also reported 50 new deaths to put the statewide death toll at 3,575.
There have since been 123 new hospitalizations since Monday as there have been 7,930 total hospitalizations.
As for local results, Cowley County has seen 51 new COVID-19 cases since Monday. Cowley County has seen 25 hospitalizations overall, and the last report from the City-Cowley County Health Department on Monday shows there have been nearly 60 virus-related deaths overall with some recent deaths not currently reflected in the State provided totals.
