The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Wednesday documented 411 new COVID-19 cases, 13 new deaths and 55 new hospitalizations since Monday, May 10.

Overall, Kansas has seen 311,338 COVID-19 cases, 10,460 hospitalizations and 5,029 deaths. Fourteen children in Kansas have suffered from Multi-system Inflammatory Syndrome.

Cowley County has seen an overall total of 3,973 COVID-19 cases and 39 hospitalizations. Cowley County has seen eight new COVID-19 cases since Monday.

KDHE is also reporting that 2,046,585 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered. This includes 1,156,717 first doses and 889,868 second doses. Therefor, 39.7% of Kansans have been vaccinated with one dose.

There have been 2,673,900 doses of the vaccine distributed across Kansas. The state has distributed 2,005,080 doses while the Federal Pharmacy Program has administered 668,820 doses.
