The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Monday documented 244 new COVID-19 cases, 16 new deaths and seven new hospitalizations since Friday, June 6.

Overall, Kansas has seen 315,099 COVID-19 cases, 10,823 hospitalizations and 5,100 deaths. Fifteen children in Kansas have suffered from Multi-system Inflammatory Syndrome.

Cowley County has seen an overall total of 4,006 COVID-19 cases and 41 hospitalizations. Cowley County has seen five new COVID-19 cases and one new hospitalization since Wednesday, June 4.

KDHE is also reporting that 2,226,525 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered. This includes 1,245,774 first doses and 980,751 second doses. Therefor, 42.8% of Kansans have been vaccinated with one dose.

There have been 2,823,490 doses of the vaccine distributed across Kansas. The state has distributed 2,019,830 doses while the Federal Pharmacy Program has administered 803,660 doses.
