The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Monday documented 277 new COVID-19 cases, one new death and 33 new hospitalizations since Friday.

Overall, Kansas has seen 313,274 COVID-19 cases, 10,630 hospitalizations and 5,058 deaths. Fifteen children in Kansas have suffered from Multi-system Inflammatory Syndrome.

Cowley County has seen an overall total of 3,996 COVID-19 cases and 39 hospitalizations. Cowley County has seen nine new COVID-19 cases since Wednesday, May 19.

KDHE is also reporting that 2,146,538 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered. This includes 1,204,945 first doses and 941,593 second doses. Therefor, 41.4% of Kansans have been vaccinated with one dose.

There have been 2,750,240 doses of the vaccine distributed across Kansas. The state has distributed 2,009,690 doses while the Federal Pharmacy Program has administered 740,550 doses.
