The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Monday reported 354 new COVID-19 cases dating back to Friday, April 2. The state of Kansas has seen an overall total of 303,227 COVID-19 cases.

No deaths were documented Monday as the state’s death toll remains at 4,927. There’s been 32 new hospitalizations since Friday, putting the overall total of hospitalizations to 9,785.

Cowley County has seen an overall total of 3,898 COVID-19 cases and 38 hospitalizations.

In regards to vaccinations, KDHE reports that 1,373,913 doses of the vaccine have been administered in the state. At least 895,712 Kansans have received the first dose. That’s 30.7% of the state’s population. 478,201 Kansans have taken the second dose.

A total of 1,754,460 doses of the vaccine have been distributed. The State of Kansas has distributed 1,377,380 doses while the Federal Pharmacy Program has distributed 377,080 doses.
