The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Wednesday documented 526 new COVID-19 cases, four new deaths and 54 new hospitalizations since Friday, May 28.
No data was reported for Monday, May 31 due to it being Memorial Day.
Overall, Kansas has seen 314,523 COVID-19 cases, 10,776 hospitalizations and 5,080 deaths. Fifteen children in Kansas have suffered from Multi-system Inflammatory Syndrome.
Cowley County has seen an overall total of 4,001 COVID-19 cases and 40 hospitalizations. Cowley County has seen five new COVID-19 cases and one new hospitalization since Monday, May 24.

KDHE is also reporting that 2,197,044 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered. This includes 1,231,676 first doses and 965,368 second doses. Therefor, 42.3% of Kansans have been vaccinated with one dose.
There have been 2,793,840 doses of the vaccine distributed across Kansas. The state has distributed 2,018,780 doses while the Federal Pharmacy Program has administered 775,060 doses.
