Health officials in Sedgwick County are celebrating a medical milestone. As of yesterday, more than 100-thousand Sedgwick County residents had been tested for COVID-19. The news reportedly comes as 81 new positive cases were ID’d, and no new deaths were reported in the county. State health officials say more than eight-thousand Kansas residents have been diagnosed with the virus to date, but it has only claimed 85 lives in the Sunflower State since March. That means a recovery rate of about 99%.
