In Cowley County, healthcare workers continue to detect more coronavirus cases. Four more were added over this past weekend, making for a total of 59 since the beginning of all of this, but there is some good news. The number of active cases has fallen in recent days. That’s because people who were earlier diagnosed have now been moved to recovered status. As of the latest figures available on Monday afternoon, there were 32 active cases and 26 recoveries recorded by the City-Cowley County Health Department. Last Thursday, there were 49 cases with 42 of them termed “active.” The current outbreak has also not led to any hospitalizations. While some people recover quickly, and others take a little longer, the additional good news is that people are by and large, recovering.
