The Kansas Department of Health and Environment is reporting 5,180 new COVID-19 cases since Friday, January 8. The State of Kansas has now seen 247,502 COVID-19 cases overall. It’s unknown at this time as to how many cases are active.
There are also 107 new virus-related deaths to report to put Kansas’ death toll at 3,255. Also, 819,014 test results have returned negative. The number of COVID-19 hospitalizations overall is now at 7,351.
Since Friday, Cowley County has seen 75 new COVID-19 cases. This puts the county at 2,962 COVID-19 cases, 22 hospitalizations and 7,760 negative test results.
