POSITIVE COVID TEST AT ROOSEVELT ELEMENTARY

We have been told today that one person at Roosevelt Elementary has tested positive for COVID-19. As a safety precaution, in-person learning for all Roosevelt Pre-K students has been suspended for 14 days. All those affected have already been contacted and were asked to isolate at home for the next two weeks and to continue learning remotely. In-person learning for that class is tentatively scheduled to resume on October 2nd. School officials say they have been following state and local health guidelines and will continue to take steps to protect students, staff members, and their families.
