Due to the current situation regarding COVID-19 and anticipated health precautions at Cumbernauld Village, the district preschool classroom which resides within the Cumbernauld Village facility will be located within the Winfield Early Learning Center for the 2020-2021 school year.
Cumbernauld Village and USD 465 are hopeful to resume this partnership for the 2021-2022 school year. Of course, this is contingent on health and safety guidelines at that time.
Though the classroom will be temporarily housed at the Winfield Early Learning Center, USD 465 plans to keep strong ties to Cumbernauld Village, and grandparent volunteers. We will do everything in our power to keep the residents and our students connected during this unprecedented time while maintaining vigilance in keeping everyone safe and healthy.
