The City of Ark City says ultmiple sewer line damage concerns have been reported in areas where AT&T fiber installation is taking place. Whenever circumstances permit, J&S asks residents to follow these five steps: 1. Report the problem promptly. Call 316-651-0100 if you notice a sewer issue that may be related to the fiber installation. 2. If you call a plumber first, request a sewer camera inspection before digging. This helps locate the problem and determine what may have caused it. 3. Contact J&S before digging or repairs begin if the inspection shows possible construction-related damage. Share any camera footage, photos and the plumber’s findings. 4. Give J&S an opportunity to inspect the damage. If J&S is responsible, allow the company to perform or coordinate the necessary repair. 5. Save your inspection records and receipt. J&S states that it will pay the reasonable cost of the sewer camera inspection if its construction is determined to have caused the damage.
