Scam warning from Health Department

The City-Cowley County Health Department says it has been brought to our attention that a scam caller has been contacting people, attempting to get vaccination, personal health, and, potentially, financial information. They identified themselves as a “health professional working with the Cowley Health Department”. They called from a phone number with a local area code, which was likely phished. We want to let everyone know that the Health Department will not call and ask for personal information over the phone. If you do receive a call like this, do not give any personal or financial information over the phone. Hang up and block the number immediately.
