The Winfield Police Department says a fake court document is continuing to make its rounds in our area. There’s a picture of it up on the Winfield P.D. Facebook page. It is a scam, and should be deleted and reported as spam to your cell phone carrier should you receive it. Legitimate courts would not reach out via text message seeking payment.
