The Ark City PD says they are being informed that several community members are receiving phone calls telling them that they have been the victim of skimming & identity theft. Do NOT provide any personal information and check with your financial institution when possible.
The Cowley County Sheriff’s Office has been contacted by multiple citizens who have reported that they have received a letter from Canada, saying that they have received an inheritance of over 10 Million Dollars. This is a scam so please do not call them and remember that you should never give out your personal information.
