As we go into the spring season, that means the return of severe weather.
There’s a slight risk for severe weather Wednesday night stretching from northern Oklahoma up into much of the eastern half of Kansas. This does include Cowley County.
The National Weather Service in Wichita said Tuesday morning that the timing for storms looks to be late afternoon/evening into the overnight for Cowley County.
Primary hazards with any storms that do develop are 1″ hail and 60 mph winds.
You can be prepared by reviewing your plans, being aware of changing conditions and seek shelter in a safe spot if a warning is issued.
