USD 470 – Arkansas City Public Schools says the elementary music classrooms received ukuleles last week! All upper elementary students will now have the opportunity to learn a string family instrument as part of the music curriculum. We are excited about this new addition! Our elementary students currently learn to play recorders, variously pitched and unpitched percussion instruments, as well as vocal music. Thank you to Sparks Music for their continuous collaboration and support of music education in our district.
