Survey Crews Doing Work Along US160 In Sumner County

As a reminder, surveying is now going on involving US 160 in Sumner County. The project is expected to last until December, according to a KDOT statement. The survey is occurring on US 160 from just east of the Kansas Turnpike to the city limits of Oxford, which is about 9 miles. A number of survey crews are contacting area property owners for permission to enter private drives and property. Survey activities will include the use of survey instruments on the ground to determine locations of existing features in the survey corridor.
