The Southwestern College division of performing arts and Campus Players will present “Bright Star” Sept. 10-13, in the Richardson Performing Arts Center. Community members that are interested in performing are asked to submit a video submission. Videos will be accepted through Friday, May 1st, and they should feature a single, complete song in a Country/Bluegrass style. Callbacks will also be held via video submission. Those cast in the production will be expected to work on materials on their own over the summer so that they can be prepared for the first rehearsal on Aug. 17. Rehearsals will run through Sept. 9.
