USD 470 Staff Member Gets Tested. No Results Yet, But School Called Off Anyway

A USD 470 Summer School staff member has been tested for COVID-19. While there are no test results or diagnoses at this time, in an exercise of caution, school officials are now contacting families whose children may have been in close proximity to this person. These calls are strictly precautionary at this time they say, and again… the person has NOT been confirmed to be positive for COVID-19… they simply got tested. But… out of an overabundance of caution, they have now decided to cancel the remainder of third and fourth grade Summer School. In an effort to protect the privacy rights of the individual involved, no other identifying information will be released.
