Statewide in Kansas, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 increased Tuesday to 1,426, up 50 from Monday. The number of deaths also increased by seven to 69. Cowley County remained at just one positive case out of 104 completed tests according to the 5 p.m. Tuesday update by the local health department. Seven test results are pending. Kay County, Oklahoma remained at 45 cases and four deaths on Tuesday. Statewide in Oklahoma, the number of deaths rose from 99 on Monday to 108, and the number of total cases increased from 2,069 to 2,184.
