WICHITA MASK ORDER REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9/8

The city of Wichita’s public facemask order will remain in effect for a few more weeks. City Council members voted yesterday to extend the ordinance until September 8th. The ordinance, which was approved in July, orders the use of face coverings in any public setting where six feet of social distancing is not possible at all times. People with medical conditions that prevent them from safely wearing a facemask are exempt from the order.
