The Board of Directors for William Newton Hospital has named Brian Barta the hospital’s new CEO. Barta had been the Chief Financial Officer and was serving as Interim CEO, and was picked out of more than 50 applicants. He’d been leading the hospital since Ben Quinton was put on leave in June. Barta joined WIlliam Newton Hospital as Chief Financial Officer in August of 2018. The promotion was effective immediately. The Board had interviewed six applicants, and the top two candidates had been chosen for forum-style interviews with William Newton Hospital staff last week.
