A Winfield man who was arrested for vandalizing a billboard near Ark City has now been charged with one count of criminal damage to property. 19 year old Cowley College Student Garrett Bogle was locked up in the Cowley County Jail after his arrest. He was free on bond the next day, after police say he painted the words BLM (Black Lives Matter) and Resist in blue and yellow paint, on the red and white billboard that said Make America Great Again and “Vote Republican.” His legal troubles are far from over. The charge he faces… criminal damage to property… is serious. He could face a penalty of up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine.
