Winfield City Commissioners approved the mill levy, the amount of property tax to be raised, and the 2027 budget at their Tuesday meeting. Public hearings were held on the revenue neutral rate and budget prior to their adoption.
The proposed budget authorizes $88 million in net expenditures in 2027. Of this, around $5.16 million will come from property taxes.
