Winfield Leaders Expected To Approve Splash Pad Construction Contract

The Winfield city commission is expected to go over new contracts for building two new splash pads at city parks. Winfield City Manager Taggart Wall said Monday that the current contract with RJR Enterprises, was one of two contracts that were submitted for the project. The first splash pad will be constructed at Cherry Street Park. The second one at Winfield Aquatic Center. The total cost of the project is pegged at 300-thousand dollars.
