Winfield Middle School released information on their Facebook page Monday afternoon, stating important information regarding a change in level of instruction for 6th – 12th grade students.

Due to an increase of positive COVID connected cases primarily among staff:

Starting today, Tuesday, November 10th, all Winfield Middle School and High School students will move to level three instruction. This means all students and staff will be working and learning remotely until after Thanksgiving break.

Elementary siblings of Middle School and High School students are still encouraged to attend school in person unless they are exhibiting symptoms, waiting for test results, or have tested positive for COVID 19.

A limited number of Wi-Fi hot spots are available on a first come first serve basis. Please call the Winfield district office at 620-221-5100 to request one.

Also, all athletics and activities for middle school and high school students are suspended until after Thanksgiving break.

Meals will be available for remote learners.

All pre K – 5th grade students will continue at their current level of instruction.

Students and staff will continue to follow our health and safety protocols while on buses and in school buildings. We will notify you of any additional information that is available to us from Winfield Public Schools.
