Am little clarification on a story we brought you yesterday… A Cowley County dry cleaner… Champion Cleaners of Arkansas City… is now no more. The business announced on social media that it has closed its Ark City location. The location in Ponca City has also shut down. Ponca City has two other dry cleaning businesses, but Arkansas City now is left with none. According to an article yesterday in the local newspaper, there are no dry cleaners left in Cowley County, but that is not true. There is still one left… Holiday Laundry on Main Street in Winfield is still open and operating. As for Champion Cleaners, no explanation for the sudden closure was given.
