The City of Ark City says Pearson Construction is expected to begin the City of Arkansas City’s Madison Avenue Mill and Overlay Project later this week. Work will take place on Madison Avenue between 8th Street and the Arkansas River Bridge and will be completed in phases. Motorists should expect temporary traffic disruptions and delays during construction. The City manager says they expect this to be a “fairly quick” project.
